Partner Bios
Kim has spent the majority of her 20-year career at KPMG, Ernst Young and in large corporate tax departments. Prior to founding R&M Consulting, she was Vice President and Managing Director for a national tax and internal audit consulting firm, where she opened, built and managed the firm’s Chicago office, as well as developed the tax services practice area.
Kim serves on the Women’s Executive Committee and Nominating Committee of the Illinois CPA Society and has served on its Board of Directors and chaired its Women’s Initiatives Task Force. She serves on the Audit Committee of the YWCA and is part of its Circle of Friends. Kim also serves on the Women’s Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo, Secretary and Board of Directors of The Chicago Tax Club, Board of Directors at Guild for the Blind and is active in Chicago Finance Exchange, Boardroom Bound and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She was named one of the ‘40 Under 40’ leaders in the tax and accounting profession by the CPA Technology Advisor. She holds a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University.
